Een dans\" \u2013 Gabrielle Roth<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Het is belangrijk om een vast ritme te cre\u00ebren voor de rapportage. Waar je in eerste instantie maandelijks of per kwartaal inzicht kreeg in \u00e9\u00e9n Excel rapportage, heb je nu dagelijks of wekelijks toegang tot de meest recente cijfers. Door elke week met het managementteam naar dezelfde cijfers te kijken, ontstaan twee gewoontes. In de eerste plaats ontstaan er veel nieuwe vragen. Vragen als: \u2018Waarom is de omzet hoger\/lager dan dezelfde periode vorig jaar?\u2019, of: \u2018Zijn we nog op schema voor dit kwartaal?\u2019 zijn het begin van een datagedreven organisatie. En ten tweede, door elke week naar dezelfde cijfers te kijken, spot je trends. Je kunt nauwkeurig zien wat er in een organisatie gebeurt. Vergelijk het met foto's en een film. In plaats van maandelijks een foto van je organisatie te bekijken, kijk je nu naar een constante film. Op basis van deze twee punten kun je wekelijks actie ondernemen.
