Who You Are
A Data Engineer who can interpret a functional requirement to define a solution design for business intelligence and data analytics environments, and who can translate that solution design into a technical design:
- You have a good understanding of the optimal technical design patterns for ETL and analytics processes
- You are familiar with concepts of real time data processing
- You have experience in data modelling
- You have experience with business intelligence and analytics solutions
- You are familiar with concepts for data warehouses, data marts, data lakes, NoSQL databases
- You are familiar with REST API design and development and API management concepts
- You are familiar with an agile working method
- You potentially have experience with Azure Databricks, Azure functions, Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hub / IOT hub / Data Bus, PowerBI, Pyhton
- You have a passion for data and are very, very eager to learn (see previous bullet point)
- You are aware of the latest developments in your field
- You are a team player at heart, but also believe in your own responsibility
- You do what you say and you say what you do
